Hey guys! Today I wanted to bring you all along on what a day in my life looks like as a working mom. I have a 5 and half month old son, Julian, and I work full time as a secretary for a middle school. Now, school hasn't started yet but we do have a summer program going on which is why I am working in July. I am going to give you guys an unfiltered look into what one of my days is like from the moment we wake up to the time we go to bed at night.
6:30 a.m. Wake up, first morning pump, get ready for work.
7:20 a.m. Leave the house to drop off Julian at daycare (aka my mom's).
7:55 a.m. Arrive at work.
8:00 a.m. Boring Work Stuff
9:30 a.m. Pump
9:50 a.m. More boring work stuff
10:15 a.m. Supply shopping at Walmart!
11:30 a.m. Back at work, catching up on emails and voicemails.
12:00 p.m. Lunch (Carnitas tacos) YUM!!!
12:30 p.m. Pump
12:50 p.m. work. Work. Work
2:20 p.m. Snack break
3:30 p.m. Pump
3:50 p.m. Close up office
4:00 p.m. Go home and shower
4:35 p.m. Pick up Julian. Play time!
5:00 p.m. Early dinner with my parents, more play time.
6:00 p.m. Make Julian some baby puree (see my post all about baby food here)
7:00 p.m. Start bedtime routine
7:30 p.m. Put Julian down for bed
8:00 p.m. Time to relax!
9:30 p.m. Last pump of the day
9:50 p.m. Time for bed.
Julian will nurse twice in the middle of the night.
