5 Daily Habits to Achieve Your Goals

We all have goals we want to achieve. We all want to be successful. No matter what your goals are or what you want to be successful in, everyone needs to have a plan. I am a big believer that part of that plan is creating habits. If you have certain habits that are part of your daily routine, you are that much closer to achieving any goal you have set. Today I want to share 5 daily habits that I have included in my routine to get me that much closer to the goals that I have.
1. Wake up early.

I want to say that this is a pretty basic habit and one that you will hear from anyone that is giving you advise but I really do believe that this helps. I have to be out of the house by 7:00 am to be able to get to work on time. I wake up at least one hour early everyday to give myself enough time to do what I need to do. If I wake up any later than that, I am running around like a chicken without a head and I can't focus on anything except how I am going to be late to work. Being able to get everything done before I leave the house lets me focus on my goals and what needs to get done through out the day.

2. Set a routine and stick to it

I am a creature of habit. I create a routine and follow said routine practically every day. If I get thrown off my daily routine I feel off for the rest of the day. Having a routine may sound boring to some but let me tell you, it works! Knowing what you are going to be doing during your day lets you plan and make time for your goals. It lets you schedule in anything you need to do to achieve said goals. Don't knock it until you try it. Make a routine and stick to it for two weeks and let me know how it works for you.

3. Use a planner.

Writing things down has always been helpful to me. Knowing what is going on during my day, week, and month is great because I don't forget any important dates to appointments. There are so many different types and styles of planners, find one that suits your lifestyle the best. I have used so many different ones and just recently purchased the Lamare One Day at a Time planner and I am obsessed. I use it to plan out my months, weeks and my days.

4. Set Small goals

It's great to have your goals set. It is also important to set small goals that are going to help you get to your main goal. Every day write one or two small goals in your planner that you want to accomplish that day. These should be steps that are going to get you closer to your main goal. this will help you feel accomplished and like you are actually moving in the right direction.

5. Focus.

Every day take five, ten or even 15 minutes to just focus on your goal. Wether you use that time to accomplish one of the small goals you set or you take some time to focus on yourself, It is all important. Focus one something that is important to you because it will get you to where you need to be.
