Our Teething Must-Haves

It seems like just when we got over the four month sleep regression and started getting a little more sleep, teething started and now there is no such thing as sleep! Okay, maybe I am being a tad bit dramatic but in my defense I am sleep deprived. Julian started teething around the time he turned 5 months old and it has been slightly rough to say the least. I have compiled a list of the items we have used to sooth Julian through the teething process.
We are at about 2 months of teething right now but still no teeth. It is complete torture to my sweet boy but also to me. If I'm being honest, I was expecting teeth to pop out about four weeks ago yet here we are with a lot of drool, a biting baby and no teeth. Fingers crossed that at least one tooth comes in soon.

Today I want to share the items that we have used to help Julian with the itch in his gums that have proved to work for him. Of course I want to disclose that all babies are different and what worked for us may not work for you but here are our teething must have items.

1. Frozen teethers

These teethers are Julian's absolute favorite. The minute he feels that cold teether on his gums he starts chomping down on it and he usually will not fuss afterwards. I don't really spend a lot of money on these mostly because we tend to misplace them often but these ones here are some of our favorites.

2. Teething mitts

Teething mitts are a little harder for Julian to play with because they tend to be bulky and he doesn't like that. However the hard part at the top of the teether is his favorite because it is textured. we don't put them on his hands, instead we just let him grab them and bite down on them.

3. Silicone Teethers

We got an Itzy Ritzy silicone teether in a Bitsy box a few months ago and it has become one of his favorite toys. He spends a lot more time biting on this one because it's not cold so his hands can handle it a lot longer.
